Get to Know Britt!
In 2019, I started “Britt Around Town” to help local businesses and small towns renew and build on their presence to targeted audiences through the power of social media. In the time that Britt Around Town has been in existence, my media channels have grown to a following of more than 9,700—and continue to grow weekly! With an engagement rate of over 200%, and an authentic, genuine audience, I promote small town travel while emphasizing local businesses.
My name is Brittany Brown, and I am the arbiter of local culture and a great source for getting the message out about small businesses and Small Town USA! In a time when online shopping and Amazon trucks are taking over the local scene, Britt Around Town has renewed interest in local tourism, highlighting small businesses through my experience based on my adventures. The enthusiasm and visual, editorial descriptions I offer of businesses in local towns, takes followers on an experiential journey to hidden treasures throughout Bucks County and beyond.
Britt Around Town also pays homage to the many historic sites and attractions in the areas I visit. Entertainment venues, restaurants, small shops, and treasured natural resources all play a role in my highlights of the local wonders we can all enjoy.
Using my love of travel, photography, and community, I have created the Britt Around Town blog and social media feeds that people follow daily. My postings are firsthand experiences in which I give recommendations to Britt Around Town followers and Instagram surfers, just as I would my closest family and friends. Such recommendations have led to people “finding” these gems for themselves and thanking me for pointing them out. Business owners also thank me for highlighting their shops and bringing new traffic to their doors. This brings much needed
revenue to businesses and small towns. I now have businesses that ask me to highlight them!
